Downtime is not fun

Then again, it can provide small quantities of mirth, just from watching people overreacting, or pretending to overreact:

OMGOD I’M LOSING 10000000000$ A MINUTE FOR EACH MINUTE MY SITE IS DOWN. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP.

More reasonable estimate: 27 cents.

I might point out that if you’re doing mission-critical stuff, you probably should expect to pay more than nine bucks a month for service — but nobody ever got rich listening to me, right?

Well, it’s not my maintenance. My own belief — that and $5.99 will get you a combo meal — is that they slowly rolled out some alleged performance-enhancing routine, and it came back to bite them on the root, so now everything has to be undone in a hurry.

Update: Um, no. See next post.
